In support of their first-ever autobiography (what, you don’t think punks can read? What do you think you’re doing right now… punk?), longtime noise makers NOFX have just announced a US tour presented by yours truly.
The 15-date trek will kick off March 18 at House of Blues New Orleans and conclude April 30 at The Fillmore Silver Spring. Tickets, which can be found here, will go on sale to the public Friday whereas special pre-sale offers will be available Wednesday (stay tuned for more info).
As for the soon-to-be released novel,
just in case you’re unfamiliar,
Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories‘ Amazon description reads as follows:
“NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories is the first tell-all autobiography from one of the world’s most influential and controversial punk bands. Alongside hilarious anecdotes about pranks and drunkenness and teenage failures—featuring the trademark NOFX sense of humor—the book also shares the ugliness and horror the band members experienced on the road to becoming DIY millionaires. Fans and non-fans alike will be shocked by stories of murder, suicide, addiction, counterfeiting, riots, bondage, terminal illness, the Yakuza, and pee…lots and lots of pee. Told by each of the band members (and two former members), NOFX looks back at more than thirty years of comedy, tragedy, and completely inexplicable success.”
In addition to the tour, we’re excited to announce NOFX will also be headlining the annual Houston We Have A Problem Festival in, you guessed it, Houston, Texas alongside punk rock veterans Unwritten Law, Fenix TX and more. For further details, head here.
