Unfortunate news, Too Close To Touch fans. Today, the band revealed on their socials they will be parting ways with guitarist Thomas Kidd and bassist Travis Moore.

“Hi friends,” the band shared, “writing today to let you all know a few important updates for the next chapter of Too Close. We are at once excited yet uncertain — elated yet melancholy. Too Close will be continuing as a 3 piece with Keaton, Kenneth, and Mason.”

The Epitaph signees continued to add, “We wish our brother Travis all the best in building his incredible family as he’s expecting a child this November and learning to take over his family business. We wish our brother Thomas all the best as he continues to explore music and personal growth outside of Too Close in what was a deeply tough/personal decision for him to arrive at. We want to make clear that there is absolutely no bad blood and we cannot stress enough how much value, commitment, creativity, and love that Travis and Thomas have added to this band and community of the last 4 years. Sometimes life must take precedence and we all must listen.”

Lastly, the remaining members of the band reassured fans about the future of the band saying, “With that said, we can now formally announce that we are in Los Angeles recording NEW music. We’ve never been more passionate about the songs we’re writing, and we’ve never been more confident in what we’re going to be sharing with you both in your headphones and live on stage. The best is yet to come for this band and community. Stay tuned.”
