Well, go ahead and add this to the list of things you never thought you’d come across in your lifetime.
In a recent episode of Blind Covers, a YouTube series based on up-and-coming bands doing a rendition of a song they have never heard and only have the lyrics to build around, LA folk rock act Valley Queen was given the challenge of recreating Every Time I Die’s 2009 track “Wanderlust.”
Only given an hour’s worth of time and a small practice space to come up with a new version, Valley Queen turned Every Time I Die’s pit-friendly barn burner into a Whole Food’s shopping experience – which isn’t a bad thing per se, just an observation.
To check out the completely different rendition of “Wanderlust,” be sure to look below. Afterwards, to hear the track played regularly at its mosh-inducing speed, make sure to pick up tickets to see Every Time I Die out on tour alongside Beartooth, Fit For A King and Old Wounds here.
