Well, can’t say we saw this coming. While out in Arizona checking out one of The Word Alive’s two hometown shows playing their 2010 debut Deceiver in full, we (along with hundreds of fans, friends and family members in attendance) were treated to an extra special guest appearance from Asking Alexandria vocalist, Danny Worsnop.
Here’s what happened: After gunning through their sensational breakout LP track-after-track, The Word Alive took the rest of their time on stage to play even older songs (”Casanova Rodeo”), fan-favorites (”Life Cycles”) and newer tracks like “Sellout” and “Misery.” Then, to close out the already rowdy evening, frontman Telle Smith invited his old pal Worsnop up on stage to finish the night off with “Trapped.”
As you would expect, things got pretty wild at the point – especially once Worsnop unleashed one of his patented high-pitch screams.
