In preparation of their third From The Screen To Your Stereo covers EP coming May 3rd, pop-punk vets New Found Glory have just debuted their whacky new video for their rendition of Huey Lewis and the News’ “The Power Of Love.”
Being that the 1985 song is best known for its appearance in the first Back To The Future film, New Found Glory (specifically vocalist Jordan Pundik and drummer Cyrus Bolooki) decided to do their very best Marty McFly and Doc Brown impersonations for their latest music video.
“Great Scott! ‘The Power Of Love’ is out NOW!” posted the band online about their exciting new cover. “1.21 Giggawatts of Pop Punk! Check out our brand new single from our upcoming album From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 3 and our NEW VIDEO! The first of 7 videos created by US, New Found Glory, alongside Natalie Simmons. All the animation from this video was generously created by the mega-talented Scott Holmes and Francis Gallupi! … We thank you all for your support and are so excited to share all this with you!!”
