While we usually don’t partake in non-federal holidays (you know, like your National Hot Dog Day or National Hug Day), there’s something special about National Best Friends Day that really gets our spirits up. Whether it’s the camaraderie felt between pals or the extra amount of Friends episodes we get to watch, National Best Friends Day is pretty alright with us – especially when we’re listening to The Interrupters and their new up-beat single “By My Side.”
Singing all about companionship and sticking together through thick and thin, “By My Side” (aside from The White Stripes “We’re Going To Be Friends,” Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend” or Toy Story’s “You’ve Got A Friend In Me”) is probably one of the better friendship-heavy songs to play on a day like today.
