What do you get when you mix Hello Kitty creator Sanrio and Baby Metal? No, this isn’t a joke; this is serious. What you get is our new bona fide spirit animal, Aggretsuko.
Aggretsuko, for those unfamiliar, is a red panda who works as an office associate for a trading company in Tokyo – which she hates, by the way. More importantly, though, along with her agony of working for The Man, Aggretsuko also a bit of an anger issue and has been known to break out into cute-but-deadly fits of rage accompanied by her very own death metal soundtrack.
That’s right, Aggretsuko may take some shit time to time from her over-talkative hippo co-worker (she’s the worst!), but at the end of the day, Aggretsuko has some brutal jams to cure it all – thus, making her all of us in cartoon form.
