You know that feeling when you love something so much you literally take every opportunity to show it off? You know, like showing pictures of your new puppy, telling everyone about your recent bachelor’s degree or maybe pulling out that autographed photo from when you met a guy who looked like Gene Simmons – don’t worry, we’ve all been there. Anyway, that feeling we’re describing is exactly how we feel about Conjure’s gloom-rific single “Shade.”
You may remember, back in May, we premiered the impressive track here on The Noise. And now, after listening to the song 748 times since and telling everyone we know about it, we’re stoked to announce that today we are exclusively debuting the ominous new video for “Shade” – fantastic, we know!
When we asked about the somber new visual directed by Cameron Nunez, vocalist/guitarist Rob Kotlinski let us in on the process for it saying: “When planning out the video we wanted to tell a story that correlated with the theme of the song. We also wanted it to match the style of the music aesthetically, going for a dark gritty look that becomes brighter and clearer after the climax of the storyline.”
“Working with Cameron Nunez really provided us with every opportunity to explore our ideas,” Kotlinski added, “and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.”
