We’re not sure what it is, but it sort of seems like Canadian punk outfit PUP loves inflicting pain on themselves. No, really: Whether it’s in real life with a grueling tour schedule (as seen in their video for “Dark Days”), driving in a demolition derby (as seen in their video for “Mabu”) or their war-like clip for “Reservoir,” Stefan Babcock, Steve Sladkowski, Nestor Chumak and Zack Mykula definitely don’t shy away from a bit of turbulence.
So, when it came to announcing their new album The Dream Is Over and releasing their first true music video for it (the band released an awesome lyric video for “DVP” earlier this year), you can bet the band continued with their aggressive approach – we mean c’mon, the new song is titled “If This Tour Doesn’t Kill You, I Will” for goodness sake; so there’s bound to be some bloodshed, right?
To check out the powerful and almost Zoolander-like (gasoline fight, anyone!?) video for the band’s catchy single, be sure to look below. Afterwards, make sure to pre-order The Dream Is Over before it hits stores May 27 via SideOneDummy.
